This is the personal genealogical research site of Laura Weber.

I am a descendant of an American Revolution Patriot, a Union Soldier of the American Civil War, an Irish immigrant from the Great Potato Famine, a Russian Jew during anti-Jewish pogroms, a German baker at the famed Waldorf Astoria, a Kentucky Derby winning horse trainer, and countless other amazing and unique individuals.

I have actively been working, and some may say obsessing, over my personal genealogy for nearly two decades. During that time, my family tree research has grown to contain well over 11,000 individuals spanning nearly 20 generations.

On this website you'll be able to navigate the very basics of my extensive family tree research. I encourage you to find your own ancestors and explore their families. In order to protect the privacy of living people, you cannot search for or view information for any living person.

Content will occasionally be updated as research continues and families grow. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Collaboration is a valuable genealogical tool.

INSTRUCTIONS TO SEARCH THE FAMILY TREE

The easiest way to begin your search is from the very top of this page. Simply type the first and/or last name of a deceased individual directly into the search box. In the alternative, you can use the Search link, also located near the top of the page. If you are viewing this site on a mobile device, you may need to click on the three bars at the top of the page, to locate the Search link.

From any individual’s page, you can click on links to view family reports or use the tabs near the top to view ancestors and descendants. While viewing an individual’s ancestors or descendants, you can use the options below the tabs to change how the information is presented and the number of generations shown.

Feel free to click links and poke buttons! There is a lot to explore! If you get stuck, simply click the Home button and start again.
